The Orchid Boutique, a Miami based e-commerce site providing luxury swimwear for fashion-forward and style-savvy women, debuted Beach Bunny Swimwear on The Orchid Boutique’s website in October 2011. Beach Bunny Swimwear was launched in 2004 by Angela Chittenden, a former model, and offers designer swimwear with sensual designs, innovative fabrics, and boudoir-inspired details. The Orchid Boutique has added this luxury swimwear designer to their hand-picked selection as swimwear options for the glamorous girl.

Beach Bunny Swimwear 2011 Rock the Casbah collection is inspired by Marrakech Morocco with exotic jewel-tone colors of fuchsia, emerald green and amethyst purple. Constructed with rich textures and embellished with sequins and gold chains, this collection maintains Beach Bunny’s signature style by enhancing every woman’s natural beauty. 

This year Beach Bunny proudly announced their newest collection, Beach Bunny Bride, filled with crisp white suits and embellished with Chantilly lace imported from France. Biondi Couture ropes in Alexandra Wilson

The designer swimwear shop and bespoke fitting and design service based off London’s King’s Road, designed specialist bikinis, Beach wear for Alex’s appearance at the Fitness America competition in Miami in 2009 – which was her first competition.


Hannah Smith, advisor for the bespoke range and store manager said: “We’ve always offered bespoke swimwear, but Alex was the first customer to approach us for costumes to wear in fitness competitions. Since then, other competitors have approached us, which has prompted us to offer this new service. We design the outfits in conjunction with the customer to make sure that it’s absolutely right for their personality and the image they want to convey - whether it’s covered in jewels or something more simple.”


Alex, originally from Northern Ireland, is a personal trainer and nutrition expert. Since entering the competitive circuit she has quickly attracted attention from the media, sports brands, and followers alike. She has been featured in numerous modeling shots and articles in a variety of magazines (Women’s Fitness, Ultra Fit, WBFF’s Fit and Firm, ExtraFit and Fitnorama), and is a Gaspari sponsored athlete. 


More recently, international fitness celebrity Jennifer Nicole-Lee has selected her to be one of the elite group of fitness models to accelerate their careers through her Fitness Model Factory. Alex’s next competition is the WBFF in Toronto on the 27th August.

Miss England re-introduces bikini round with Sandstorm

Sandstorm Boutique, the UKs premier Designer Swimwear Specialists are the official Swimwear Sponsors for Miss England 2011 and this year the swimwear competition has been given a new up to date look!

The swimwear competition has been re-introduced, but this year there will be no parade of girls in swimwear on the stage!

Top photographer Alan Strutt & Naomi John CEO of Sandstorm Boutique have selected ten Miss England finalists from their online portfolios located on the Miss England website.

The ten gorgeous finalists were then invited to Alan Sturtt's London studio on 29th June where they were photographed in the latest Sandstorm Boutique's swimwear collections.

The winner of the Best Beach body will automatically qualify for a place in the top 15 at the finals on 19th July 2011. The lucky lady will also be presented with her award on stage at the Miss England finals and she will receive gorgeous designer swimwear from Sandstorm Boutique.
